Heidelberg social crime prevention conducted school talk at Shalimar Ridge Primary School.

2024-05-14- Working together with stakeholder of different Government agencies ranging from DSD, Lesedi traffic,Cogta, Brigades, Green door, and FCS.

Together we manage to educate learners about the role of our work in helping children to develop their social skills and to improve their learning outcomes by sharing experiences with others in the school.

The following topics were discussed Bullying,substance abuse, sexual offences and road safety. The learners response to the topics were positive and constructive. Learners were engaging with us and asking questions. We further ensured learners of their safety insides and outside the school premises.

The school principal was happy about our visit and encouraged us to continue to work with them and to share our knowledge with them and their learners to ensure that their students are safe and comfortable with each other and to be respectful to their peers and their families.
